MANTAS DE LOS ANDES ARGENTINOS
 
Los productos de la hilandería son únicos, 100% naturales y semi-artesanales. La fibra es una mezcla de lana de llama y oveja criada en la Puna.
Esta hilandería, emplazada en San Salvador de Jujuy, de más de 100 años, está en manos de un grupo empresario en conjunto con una Asociación de mujeres collas.  Son mujeres perseverantes, que trabajan por el desarrollo de su región, venciendo el atraso, la pobreza y la falta de oportunidades en base al esfuerzo, la capacitación y el emprendimiento. Se encuentran representadas las 90 comunidades que habitan en los cerros desde hace centurias. Son más de 3000 familias que actualmente administran un fondo comunal de microcréditos. En palabras de Rosario Quispe, su fundadora,…”estamos tejiendo un sueño, vivir dignamente de nuestro trabajo, de acuerdo a nuestra cultura, integradas con el mundo siendo diferentes, perseverando, ampliando y compartiendo nuestra riqueza y cultura con el mundo”…

This spinning mill, located in San Salvador de Jujuy, for more than 100 years, is in the hands of a business group in conjunction with an Association of women collas. They are perseverant women, who work for the development of their region, overcoming the backwardness, poverty and lack of opportunities based on effort, training and entrepreneurship. The 90 communities that inhabit the hills have been represented for centuries. There are more than 3000 families that currently administer a communal microcredit fund. In the words of Rosario Quispe, its founder, "we are weaving a dream, living with dignity of our work, according to our culture, integrated with the world being different, persevering, expanding and sharing our wealth and culture with the world
